In 2019, his team earned the “Innovative Use of Social Media” Pelican Award from the Louisiana Hospital Association for creating and collaborating on the “Generally Speaking” podcast, which promoted hospital services and physicians for OGHS. In 2022, he was nominated for and received the “Excellence in Business” Award from the St. Landry Parish Chamber of Commerce for healthcare initiatives that benefited the community. Most recently, he served as CEO of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, along with a 117-bed skilled nursing facility and a Rural Health Clinic.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in history from the College of Charleston and his MBA from Kent State University. He has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2015 and was elevated to fellow status in 2021, earning board certification in healthcare management.
Andrew is involved with Rotary and mentors professionals looking to further their education and become leaders in their fields. Recently, Andrew finished a three-year term on the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) national examination committee for board certification. He also participates with the American College of Healthcare Executives of Georgia chapter, serving on both the Membership and the Career Development Committees.
Andrew and his wife, Laina, have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, traveling, and coaching youth sports.
