Andrew Brickley, MBA, FACHE, (Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives), has a 20-year career in healthcare that began in medical device sales. He later moved into hospital and health system roles, starting as a laboratory account manager, and then serving as Director of Sales at Mercy Medical Center (now Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital). He subsequently became Vice President of Business Development at Opelousas General Health System, where he managed clinical service lines, oversaw a $50 million profit and loss (P&L) statement, and led strategic and business development initiatives. Recognized for his outstanding and innovative performance, he received the Carencro Business Association Outstanding Member of the Year award in 2018 on behalf of Opelousas General Health System.

In 2019, his team earned the “Innovative Use of Social Media” Pelican Award from the Louisiana Hospital Association for creating and collaborating on the “Generally Speaking” podcast, which promoted hospital services and physicians for OGHS. In 2022, he was nominated for and received the “Excellence in Business” Award from the St. Landry Parish Chamber of Commerce for healthcare initiatives that benefited the community. Most recently, he served as CEO of a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, along with a 117-bed skilled nursing facility and a Rural Health Clinic.

Andrew brings his experience to Actus Wealth Strategies, LLC, serving as a financial professional to healthcare organizations. He provides practical solutions based on his experience, allowing him to lead with a business-focused, growth-oriented, entrepreneurial, and collaborative style combined with a people-centered operational approach. This unique combination helps him assist businesses and organizations in succeeding through various phases, especially during challenging financial times, market shifts, growth recoveries, or modernization efforts, by delivering real-world solutions that generate the greatest returns.

Andrew earned his undergraduate degree in history from the College of Charleston and his MBA from Kent State University. He has been a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives since 2015 and was elevated to fellow status in 2021, earning board certification in healthcare management.

Andrew is involved with Rotary and mentors professionals looking to further their education and become leaders in their fields. Recently, Andrew finished a three-year term on the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) national examination committee for board certification. He also participates with the American College of Healthcare Executives of Georgia chapter, serving on both the Membership and the Career Development Committees.

Andrew and his wife, Laina, have two children. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis, traveling, and coaching youth sports.
