Scott E. Peyton, Jr. (ScottE) is a financial services professional licensed in life and health insurance. From Lebeau, Louisiana, Scott has a strong background in economics, technology, and entrepreneurship. A regional winner in both economics and computer science through Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), he also competed at the state level in computer science.
At just 15 years old, ScottE studied supply-side economics and American foreign policy at Hillsdale College and completed internships with the Texas Public Policy Foundation. By 16, he co-founded a collectibles eCommerce store that ranks in the top 1% of sellers on eBay. He also served as Treasurer of the Marquis de Lafayette Chapter of the Children of the American Revolution. In 2024, ScottE worked with the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce and actively participated in their Business Summit, gaining valuable insight into local economic development and business leadership.
Rooted in the great open rural Northern St. Landry Parish, ScottE enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
